CONGRATS! OMEDETOU! YA-HA!

I got my hands on episodes 01-27 of the Eyeshield 21 anime!!!!! Ya-ha!!! (Plus I finally got my copies of CCS, YUA s01, Detective Conan 1-97 and Pot 60-end. Will [re]watch those some other time. XD) I saw the first 3 episodes today ^______^

Kurita is such an uke (not that way though). He does everything Hiruma tells him to do. LOOOL~ Their congratulatory dance is so adorable ~ ♥ CONGRATS! OMEDETOU! YA-HA!

Sena. Uh, I don't know what to say about him. In actuality, out of all the Devilbats, he's the one I don't really care a lot about. I mean, I like Sena, but I don't love Sena. Surprisingly enough though, I found myself really liking him this time around. Just not as much as the others though. :p But you would understand why I don't have many decent caps of him. ^^; The Sumo!Sena cap is priceless though, dont'cha think? XD

Huh-huh Kyoudai!!!!! I never thought I'd love them as much as I do now, I swear. The first time I saw them in the manga, I dismissed them as just another bunch of bullies. Didn't care much for them -- actually, I disliked them. But of course, as I continued reading and got to know them better, I fell completely in love with them. Especially for Juumonji. This time around, with the anime, I don't have to wait for a dozen or so episodes to get to know them, because I already do. I love them to bits, they're so amusing -- "Huh? Huh?! HUUUUUUUUUH?!" *giggles like a deranged fangirl* All they really know how to say is "Huh?!" =)) Actually, now that I think about it, Juumonji is probably my second favorite character in the series.

And Kurita is such a darling teddy bear~ ♥ He's a big guy, but he's always smiling and you just want to hug him tightly. :p FUNNURABA!! Haha, such a big guy, but he's such an uke. ^^;

Monta ~ ♥ Well, okay, he isn't a part of the team yet after 3 eps, but still. Monta is adorable ~ ♥ Here is his first appearance in the first ep as an extra, LOL~

Shin/Sakuraba appeals to my slash loving side. XD They look good together in the anime as well as they did in the manga. Ahai ~ ♥ (I don't really like Shin that much though, but maybe because he has Naoyan's voice I would like him more? :p)

Same with the Huh-huh Kyoudai, I never really cared much for Mamori. And so, okay, maybe a huge part of my complete 180 on her would be because of Hiruma and my uber love for HiruMamo. But I think a huge part of my indifference to her back then was because I saw the possibility of SenaMamo and it just didn't seem right. But of course I know better now. But my watching the anime, by getting back to the start -- I'm reminded of Mamori-neechan's denseness. I can't believe she still can't figure out that ES21 = Sena. ^^; (Anou, in the latest chapters, does she still not know? O_o)

FIRST HIRUMAMO SCENE IN THE ANIME!!!! XD I want to make an icon out of this. =^^=

HIRUMA!!!! HIRUMA. Well what can I say? I still love him best ~ ♥ He's psychotic but you just have to love him. :p As I've only seen until episode 3, there hasn't really been much character dev't, so Mamori is still giving off the perfect sempai image while Hiruma is just the psychotic quarterback. So I can't wait to watch the later episodes, where we're shown just how much more of a person Hiruma is. Sort of. ^^;

Seriously. Hiruma isn't the most bishielicious character out there, but people should get into this series if only for him. There is no other character quite like this guy. HOORAH FOR PSYCHO LOVE!!! LOL~

And last, but not the least -- OH CERBEROS. I love you so. XD You bring out the absolute best in Sena-kun, hee~

But okay, truthfully, I'm just really raving because of my biases. The animation isn't really all that amazing, and there are some plot holes that weren't there in the manga. But I'm still enjoying it so far. Plus one thing I love about this series -- sure, they make Sena seem superhuman sometimes with his speed, but IMHO, the way they play football is still more believable than how other sports in other series are portrayed, *cough*PoT*cough*

Oh, and just how early are they going to introduce Suzuna and her brother? In the scanlations, they've just come out (not that the scans are up to date, but, still, she didn't make an appearance until 80-nth down. ^^; In the anime though, they're already in the opening and ending credits.

I want to make all my friends watch this, but somehow, I just don't think it'll be all that popular among them. ES21 isn't exactly full of bishounen, you see. ^^;

Aiya~ I now I already created a Devilbats mood theme, manga version, but watching the anime is making me want to make an anime version mood theme ~ ♥ And I want the opening and ending themes. Who has them and is willing to upload for me? ><

*sigh* I never thought I'd be this into sports series, but I just realised, apart from the good character development, sports series also teaches me the basic mechanics of some sports. Which makes it easier for me to enjoy tolerate them, IRL. Although, that doesn't mean I'll become a sports buff anytime soon. ^^;

as for Shin/Sakuraba... XD I don't know. XDD For some reason they just never appealed to me.. even before they introduced the Oujou team manager (wakana, tho she dones't have a huge role). o_oa I guess I just didn't feel any connection at all. XDDDDDDDDD or maybe it's my het fangirl senses tingling, telling me that there's a girl somewhere I can pair Shin (or the QB Takami) up with. kekkekekke

i'm more of a het fangirl really, but maybe it was because when i first started reading es21, the inner slash fangirl was trying to resurface.

the love for shin/sakuraba never really really grew though, cause i haven't really reached the part in the manga where they have actually developed as characters. plus, i moved on to hiruma/mamori. ^^;

there's really not much to Shin/Sakuraba. I think there's more Shin/Sena hints and Takami/Sakuraba hints than Shin/Sakuraba. XDD (not that I ship any of those pairings)
