sure, i've seen gokusen at least a dozen times over, but recently, i thought i wanted to watch it again. this time not only as an obsessive shinkumi fan but as a !$&^*%*&^*&!&^wordscannotexpress matsujun fangirl. ^^; (basic result: i helplessly snigger everytime he's on screen — apparently i still can't get past the ugly teeth, lol.)
as i thought, a picspam came out of it, and i'm only up `til episode 3, haha. (y'now, tbh, i think i unconsciously require myself to spazz over gokusen at least once a year. no, really.)
let's start with a newly woken, slightly tousled yankumi. just because we can. :D
... followed by going totally dorko for shinohara-senseisan,
who she follows around *cough* until she gets distracted when our favorite sawada makes his first appearance in this episode!
and wth, matsujun looks totally awkward in the first screencap. like he has a double chin or something. T_T
3d-gumi!! ♥♥♥ you will forever stay special no matter how many doramas i watch. and look how stick-thin shun was, then. i mean he continues to be tall and lunky until now, but i've totally forgotten that he was this thin. aww uchi, you were my second favorite 3-d boy. in the dorama anyway. ^^; back then, it felt kind of wrong to be so attracted to him even thoughhe looks like a drug addict he's not all that good-looking. and now he's a fucking heartthrob, wtf. and look! sano and tennouji in the last cap! they were totally hoodlums before they went to osaka gakuen. tsk.
although, seriously, i'm really curious about the sort of friendship jun and shun formed. jun is the sort of person who has few friends and hundreds of acquaintances (he says it himself, after all) so i want to know what kind of ties he formed with shun that he considers him a real friend. also a friend, he would actually demand to get to work with again.
also, as i thought, the gokusen boys are all shades of special to me. ♥ any of them are practically enough to get me to download a dorama. and even the teachers! everytime i see them in some other series, i go "oh gokusen!" no, seriously, i do. :p

sakurai sho, despite being oblivious to his groupmates' rabu-rabu coupleness, can be be very perceptive sometimes. i do think sawada shin is the role that started shaping matsujun's current image. previously, he was arashi's comedy leader after all, right?!
this is the episode where we learn that while shin doesn't show it normally, he is actually the one who cares most about his friends. i wish people would see the same about matsujun. he might seem like such a prissy little bitch of a princess sometimes, but in truth, he's actually the one who cares the most about arashi. and i'm not just saying this because i'm confusing the character with the actor. i'm saying it because it is. even if you ask the other members, they'd say the same thing. anyway, this is an entry about gokusen, not arashi, so more about that some other time.
one minute they've got her, and the next she's shrugged them off. aww, yankumi.
anyway, fast forward,because matsujun-slash-shin looks all sexy beaten up WTF a little shin/yankumi:

i adored this scene, esp the first time around. it represented the beginnings of 3-d slowly but finally acknowledging yankumi in their own awkward ways. (not to mention i am in love with shin's subtle body shift, eeeeh. and we all know matsujun is ACE at piercing stares. ♥♥♥)
you know, i do think jun was best at being momo (kimi wa petto) and that he totally owned being domyouji (hana yori dango), but no matter what, it seems i still like matsujun as shin best. ♥

lastly, there's supposed to be a jun drama next season (with kato ai accdg to rumors). i kind of both want it and not so much. jun's already shooting TWO MOVIES after all. he's going to look all exhausted again like in 2006. :|

There are apparently rumors about a MatsuJun drama this winter, but nothing is confirmed. ^^

(or behind the scenes footages.) and i love watching behind-the-scenes stuff too. it makes these actors and idols more interesting. :)
